2nd TRUMPET

The FIRST TRUMPET will sound from heaven.  All the earth will hear the sound and the attention of men will be aroused. Scientists will come up with all kinds of strange 'explanations' for the sound of the TRUMPET. Then the SECOND TRUMPET will sound.  Probably not immediately after the first, but after a space of time.

Rev. 8:7 "AND THE SECOND ANGEL SOUNDED,  AND AS IT WERE A GREAT MOUNTAIN BURNING  WITH FIRE WAS CAST INTO THE SEA: AND THE THIRD PART OF THE SEA BECAME BLOOD.  AND THE THIRD PART OF THE CREATURES WHICH WERE IN THE SEA AND HAD LIFE, DIED,  AND THE THIRD PART OF THE SHIPS WERE DESTROYED."

Once again a TRUMPET will sound followed by a gigantic object falling into the sea.  Of course we do not know if this will be the Mediterranean Sea or the Atlantic or Pacific Oceans.  In any case, there will be a tremendous tsunami (tidal wave) hundreds or even thousands of feet high. Coast lands near the impact site will be devastated.  Hundreds of thousands will drown.

And instead of giving glory to and fearing God, the event will be ascribed to an asteroid or meteor impact.  Modern TV programs (History Channel, Discovery Channel, etc) plus modern disaster movies already anticipate such a scenario. Both TRUMPET blasts will be attributed to some sort of harmonic earth vibration as the earth anticipated the coming object - whether it was a true celestial object or not.

Then will follow an ecological disaster as 1/3 of the sea is turned into blood.  Sea creatures will die by the millions.  The fishing industry will be devastated.  Scientists will attribute the redness of the sea to 'red tide' which is caused today by sea algae.

And the navies of the world will be devastated as 1/3 of their boats sink.  Yet once again, few will see the hand of God at work.  They will try to explain it all away as natural phenomena.

However, the return of JESUS CHRIST will take another large step forward.
